Sports Podiatrist
We are Runners Treating Runners (and Walkers)!
Using a comprehensive biomechanical assessment, including video gait analysis, we aim to identify your injury and its underlying cause.
We have extensive experience in sports shoe prescription and, where clinically indicated, can prescribe ultra-lightweight orthotics to support your return to the activity you love.
Our approach is evidence-based; we only recommend orthotics when we believe they are the most effective tool for your recovery. We often work alongside surgeons to explore conservative management options, such as orthotics, as a primary intervention where clinically indicated.
If the benefit of orthotics is unclear, we can implement trial measures to assess their effectiveness before you commit to a long-term solution. Please feel free to discuss these options with us during your consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No. You can book directly with one of our physiotherapists without a referral. A referral is only required if you’re claiming through certain schemes such as Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM), Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, or some insurance providers.
What conditions do physios treat?
We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues and injuries related to sport & exercise. This includes back & neck pain, shoulder injuries, knee pain, ankle sprains, muscle and tendon injuries, growth related conditions, osteoarthritis, post-operative rehabilitation & persistent pain.
We also provide Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Paediatric Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, Massage Therapy, classes for Osteoarthritis and Hydrotherapy.
What can I expect at my first physio appointment?
Your first appointment is 45 minutes. We will discuss your injury history, general health, your concerns & what you actually want & need to get back to doing.
Physios are trained and qualified to assess and diagnose your condition with a physical examination.
A provisional diagnosis will be made and discussed, including any further investigations required – this may include referral for imaging (MRI, X-Ray) or for a GP or specialist opinion (Sports & Exercise Physician or Orthopaedic Specialist).
Together, we’ll map out a clear plan of action — focused on reducing pain, restoring function & getting you back to what you love as quickly and safely as possible.
Can I claim through my private health insurance?
The rebate you receive depends on your individual health fund and level of cover. Please bring your card to swipe on the day or you can claim from your fund later.
Does Medicare cover physiotherapy?
Eligible patients with a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from their GP may receive a Medicare rebate for up to five allied health visits per calendar year.
A valid GP referral is required.
Do I need to have scans before I come to Physio?
Usually not.
In most cases, a physiotherapist can accurately assess your injury through a detailed history and physical examination without the need for X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans or MRI.
Clinical practice guidelines recommend that imaging is only used when it is likely to change diagnosis or treatment, as many scans show age-related changes that may not be the source of your pain.
If imaging is clinically indicated, we’ll explain why and can communicate with your GP or specialist to help arrange the most appropriate scan. Our goal is to ensure you receive the right investigation at the right time—avoiding unnecessary costs, delays, and radiation exposure where possible.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked online at any time using our online booking system or by contacting one of our clinics during business hours (7:00am – 7:00pm).
Our reception team can also help you choose the practitioner or service that’s best suited to your needs.
