Andrew has been Practice Principal since 2005 when The Sports Physio Clinic was located only at Narrabeen with West Pymble opening in 2010. 

His background is as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Emergency & ICU before completing physiotherapy – becoming a Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist in 2007.

With extensive experience in Rugby Union and AFL, Andrew is part time at both practices when he is not working with the GWS Giants.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Matt working part time at Narrabeen.

He has three decades worth of experience working at the elite level of AFL – working with the Sydney Swans as Head Physio from 1998 to 2020.

Matt joined the GWS Giants in 2021 as the physiotherapist responsible for the rehabilitation of injured players – seeing them from injury, through transition to make a full return to play. 

In 2022 he started part time in our Narrabeen clinic where he works a day a week around his commitments with GWS.

Aiden joined the team in 2022 and has become an essential part of our physiotherapy team at Narrabeen, coordinating our professional development across both practices.

He works closely with our Sports Podiatrist, Mo Maarj & the Sport & Exercise Physicians at Narrabeen Sport & Exercise Medicine Centre

Aiden has extensive experience in all sport & exercise related injury management and return to full athletic performance.

Sabrina is one of our most senior physiotherapists starting at the clinic in 1998. 

She has extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing & managing dance related injuries.  She is a consultant for pre-pointe assessments.

'Real Time' Ultrasound is used extensively by Sabrina as a training tool for patients requiring abdominal & lumbar spine muscle activation.  This is used as a foundation for rehabilitation for hip, groin and back pain.

Karen is a Senior physiotherapist who has worked at Narrabeen since 1984 with Greg Craig & Ian Collier. 

She is an NSWIS Satellite Physiotherapist with a long time affiliation with Manly Warringah Netball Association as a player, coach & physiotherapist.

Karen has decades of experience and a special interest in management of shoulder pathology.

Sam is an experienced physiotherapist who is full time in our Narrabeen clinic, running GLAD & hydrotherapy classes.

He completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy in the “Chronic and Gradual-Onset Injuries and Conditions in the Sport of Surfing” & has extensive experience across a number of sports.  Sam has completed both his APA Sports Physiotherapy Level 1 & 2 courses.

Penny Hanlon is a senior physiotherapist who is experienced in helping people of all ages navigate a broad range of continence & pelvic health issues.  This includes pelvic pain & incontinence related to injury, surgery, sport & activity and perimenopause.  

She cares for women, men & children with respect, kindness & confidentiality. 

In Australia, 1 in 3 women, 1 in 10 men & 1 in 5 children have bladder control problems.

Ash blends her extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a wide-ranging knowledge of Paediatric care.

She has experience working with children of all ages, from newborns through to adolescents with developmental delays, connective tissue disorders (hypermobility), genetic conditions, coordination difficulties, gait and postural concerns and musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

She works alongside Georgia Bisset & Juliet Ridge with Physi Kids.

Sam joined the Narrabeen team in 2021 and with a background in Exercise Physiology and experience working across a variety of sports including VFLW and AFL (GWS pre-season 2022). 

He has worked at the elite level with Olympic and National level track athletes and is currently with the Manly Sea Eagles pathways program.

He enjoys working with all population groups to promote health literacy and enhance well-being, and is currently completing his Masters in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy.
